Hello. Using budgie for a couple weeks now. I disabled notifications for an app from the settings > applications using the toggle switch, but I still seem to get raven notifications for the app. Am I misunderstanding what the this notifications toggle is for? How can I disable notifications for a single application?

If it boots OK and is generally working for you then I wouldn't worry. I'm guessing that's a missing Portuguese translation for GRUB?

I don't pay much attention to the size of the weekly updates. I just restart the update, and it completes normally. Note that this is much easier to do witheopkg
at the command line, rather than with the Software Center.Rajdeep_Singha/brent
until sh -c 'sudo eopkg up -y';do echo "Trying again";done
Almost every time I try to install the Software Updates, the installation gets stuck after sometime. If I try to update my from the terminal, I get a message stating could not fetch destination file. This makes updating apps
really uncomfortable and frustrating as I have to restart the updates and keep repeating the process until the update is completed successfully.If someone has a solution to this problem, i kindly request him/her to help me out.
Thank You

I actually started experiencing this too, also since about one and a half weeks ago. I am using a ThinkPad X270, was actually going to disassemble it because I thought I had dropped it or something, but this to me confirms that it is a software issue, and reinstalling Solus did not fix it.
Edit: Please let me know if you find a fix, because it is driving me mad

Hello,
I want to help solus team in translating all the tools and software to Portuguese(Portugal). I see that there is only translations for the budgie desktop in https://translate.getsol.us/ which I can help to suggest but not permission to save. my question is, who can give me permissions?
Best regards Did we get a kernel update (I didn't check/notice) since you last updated? That would certainly be wifi related.

Here is a microsoft thread about this isssue. It happened after 8.20.x of skype it seems, I guess they updated to GTK3 or whatever.
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/skype/forum/skype_linux-skype_startms-skype_installms/system-tray-icon-in-xfce/d3f162bf-0bbf-481b-90a1-f43cae9a86ccHowever, workaround is this:
Edit the file
/usr/share/applications/skypeforlinux.desktop
change
Exec=/usr/bin/skypeforlinux %U
to
Exec=env XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Unity /usr/bin/skypeforlinux %U
It's not a Budgie issue, it's an issue with Skype, they're the ones responsible for providing the tray icon.
