Hello, everybody,
Some days ago my wi-fi connection started having this issue. Despite the icon appearing as if the connection works regularly, it doesn't. It just gets back to track when I reconnect it.
Does anyone else already have this problem? Any idea of how to solve it?

Hi...any interference nearby that may be causing this? Try using the wifi in another area in the room to see if there is any difference. If possible, relocate the router and test that out also.

Try a different WiFi channel, there's several to chose from and this is common if someone has just moved in as they may be using the same channel as you.
I actually started experiencing this too, also since about one and a half weeks ago. I am using a ThinkPad X270, was actually going to disassemble it because I thought I had dropped it or something, but this to me confirms that it is a software issue, and reinstalling Solus did not fix it.
Edit: Please let me know if you find a fix, because it is driving me mad

[deleted], sorry for saying that, but I'm kind of relieved that I'm not facing this issue alone 
I also realized that it was not a hardware problem when I saw that my Windows 10 still working (dual boot). But I don't want to need to use it more than I was doing

[deleted] ThinkPads usually have issues with the iwlagn/iwlwifi kernel modules, use lspci -vv | grep Kernel and find which kernel driver you use iwlagn or iwlwifi

Right now I just know that an update must have broken it, because it has been working great for years and a clean install did not fix it (because then the same update broke it again).

I was having that kind of problems when I was linux mint user and also it was kernel related. That's why I always use lts kernels (my hardware is 8+ years old so I don't have problem with lts kernels). Try to install lts kernel and see will it resolve your problem.
JoshStrobl Thank you, I was able to install and switch to 4.9.188-135.lts, I will see how well it works
Update: After changing kernel to linux-lts, I have yet to experience the issue again. Thank you for your help!
