ContraDix It never reached a point where it left me create an account.
I hate to have to write this, but I'm afraid that Solus is not going to work for your new computer at this time. We've been assured that new .ISO files are on the way, but with no estimate of when we'll see them. It should have occurred to me that without a new kernel and its drivers, your computer wouldn't even be able to run the Solus Live session that's required to create your account. I apologize for leading you all this way, when there was no way that it would work for you.
During my investigation of other distributions that offer the Budgie desktop environment, I was impressed with several of them. One that I liked a lot was Manjaro Budgie.
It uses the same traditional Budgie DE that Solus does, so if you were to use that for a while, it would be easy for you to change to Solus when it becomes possible to install it on your computer. The appearance, settings, and features -- those will all be the same in Solus Budgie as they are in Manjaro Budgie.
Solus is still the better distro, if we can just get you past this initial installation issue. It is truly an "install once, and update forever" distribution. Barring any catastrophe along the way, the weekly updates will move you from one version of Solus to the next, without ever needing to install it again. And Solus is the cleanest and fastest distro I've ever used.
But you've got to get it installed that first time, and right now it looks like that's currently impossible.
