Brucehankins That movie messed me up back in the day.

What would life be without those movies? I missed it from your original list and will look for it.

Solarmass definitely recommend it! Also Contact (1997)

I liked this one a lot. McConaghey (sp.?) was still Wooderson from Dazed and Confused in this one, but the movie still worked. If you keep up with the lit (I try to) we are still receiving some remarkable radio signals/pulses now and again for which there is no agreed-upon explanation. Cool.

2.2 Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970)

2.4 Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972)
2.5 Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973)

Lord of the Rings, The Andromeda Strain, Star Trek Movies

Nowadays I only watch Laika and Miyazaki Studio Ghibli movies. Do they qualify?

Also Star Trek original TV series and Mission Impossible original TV series

And the 1940s and 1950s classic Film Noirs

I went where no man (me) has gone before: Season 9 of SG1...no O'Neil...new commander and new boss...
Saw most of three epsidoes on a broadcast channel today while in and out of the kitchen.
        πŸ™πŸ™
remaining cast lost, no chemistry, weird, clunky...YUCK.
this happens in tv land. I bailed on the xfiles after Duchovny/Mulder quit. Evidently it went on two more seasons without me...

brent I went where no man (me) has gone before: Season 9 of SG1

At least one other man has. I've not only gone there, but I have it.

I have every season of SG1 and Atlantis, and all the separate movies on my NAS. My wife and I were big fans, and bought the collections of shows we really liked. 1,921 movies (so far).

WetGeek do I just have the old can't-get-used-to-new-team-leader-and-new-starfleet-commander syndrome? maybe another episode or two will cure itπŸ™‚?
