WetGeek yes, easiest way is go ham on the esc key during start up. Installation media is seen, Sandisk, Memorex, and another off brand USB key all register. I can go into BIOS with F10 on start up, confirmed secure boot is disabled and left the default boot order as is since esc then f9 work fine.
Booting into the live USB (4.0 or 4.1) is normal and no issues using it. When I run the installer, it hangs on "examining local storage devices". I've quit and restarted the installer, physically disconnected all drives except the target drive, and tried the wait and see tactic. Multiple attempts and probably 4+ hours, it won't go past that screen. It's a standard HDD, 3TB, and unmodified. I haven't tried to create /esp /boot, swap or /home partitions manually before running the installer yet.
