Hello!
Did the original poster solve his issue. If so, how?
I've encountered the same issue today in that the installation seems to be frozen in a perpetual state of "Examining local storage devices...". Is it a problem of a wrongly burnt ISO, or not enough space?
I used a 8GB pendrive for the ISO, and have 100GB of free storage to install to, so I don't think it has something to do with storage. Also, although I have had trouble with drivers with previous distros, I was able to install openSUSE, ubuntu and manjaro on my laptop before without an issue. Lastly, I burnt the ISO through SUSE Image Writer. Should I use regular dd? Thanks for everythin, and sorry for reviving such an old post, but I figured if there was a solution, it should be here.
Cheers!
