After reading these links, and in particular Ikey's comments, I retain the notion of autonomy and guidance.
In fact, Solus is an autonomous distribution which started from scratch and which, by evolving over all these years, has shown that it is capable of showing, in an original way, another way of imagining a Linux distribution associating its designers and its users.
And that's what explains their attachment to Solus.
