elfprince ok good. saw nothing in our own SC.
DDG search led it a 'top ten' article at itsfoss:
libre draw (who knew?)
okular (I thought that just had forms and no editor)?
scribus (I have scribus and this is not achievable asfaik)
qoppa
masterpdfeditor
xjournal
the rest were "arrangers" with no true text editing. it was all sequencing, merging, etc the same stuff I can do with sam
or unite
.
...linux has forms and arranging covered but not true editing as far as I can see.
the last true pdf editor (text, graphics) I used was Adobe PitStop and no way am I introducing that into solus...
I like the upload simplicity sejda and checking out now, thank you.
**anyone still reading I could probably save or print a pdf into postscript or .eps then bring it into gimp or something and edit in that static form..would be convoluted but someday
