    The current kernel is 6.4-13-253 so it looks like it didn't update to the newest.

    I found out about my system having different nvidia drivers versions by running dmesg. Try it to see what you errors you get back.

    As for removing kernels from the EFI partition, I booted Solus Live from a USB and mounted the partition with Disks app. Then I browsed it with a file manager and deleted the old versions from 'com-solus-project' folder. But do it at your own risk

        mestrini When I use "dmesg" I'm getting the same errors that you got.

        As for removing kernels.. there is no need, I only have one and when I check the Boot partition I see that used space is 105 MiB out of 489. So there is no issue here.

        Right, thank you for the reply mestrini but I think I'll reinstall. Maybe I should use this as an excuse to do some distro hoping

          Recently, not sure if it's a result of the last update or maybe the one before, I've been seeing an odd screen effect. My screen is on a Latitude laptop, 1920x1080, and when I restore it in the morning from hibernation the bottom 1" of the screen is blurred. The only way I've found to clear it is to log out and back in.

          This is in a Wayland session -- which is a work in progress -- and it causes no real harm, but I was wondering whether anyone else was experiencing this? And if you are, did you realize you could fix it so easily?

          I've used Wayland since well before this started happening. so it's indeed something fairly recent. I haven't experimented to find out whether it happens with X11 as well, but I'll do that now.

          On X11 now. I'll work this way for a while, then hibernate, and see what happens when I wake up the laptop.

          Okay, after using X11 for a while, I've hibernated this laptop, and took a break to prepare our breakfast, and to eat mine. Now I've awakened the laptop, and confirmed that there is NO blurry inch at the bottom of my screen. I realize this is not a statistically significant sample size, but it's a personally significant one. I'm willing to accept that the blur at the bottom of my screen is indeed a Wayland issue. As work continues on Wayland, I'm hoping that will soon disappear.

          So, is anyone else seeing this happen, either in connection with hibernating or at other times? Going back to Wayland now.

          Since the last update i can't send mails with Thunderbird over my AOL account.
          I had this issue a couple month ago and a update was neccessary.
          Not sure its an AOL or Thunderbird issue.
          I get the error can't connect with SMTP server.
          Recieving works normal.
          Sending via AOL works normal.

            For me, the last update contained 125 packages (1.15 GiB) and I have nothing special to report except this.
            NB. This may have happened since the last update or the one before it.
            This is the Onboard software, which is very practical for entering passwords confidentially.
            The problem is that, once launched, the application icon no longer appears in the taskbar, once the virtual keyboard is displayed.
            This happens whether by launching the application from the menu or by programming it to autostart.
            It's not too annoying, but you always have to go through the menu to display it.
            Is this the case for other users?

              It does appear to have AppIndicator support... @penny-farthing in the Open board settings, it looks like there might be an option to change the provider. Does changing it to AppIndicator do anything?

                No, it doesn't.
                Initially, the support was adjusted on Auto-Detect.
                So I modified it in Appindicator (Unity, KDE), then restart the PC as requested.
                Result: the virtual keyboard launches well, but still no Onboard icon in the taskbar.
                Another idea to suggest ?

                        MikeK61 Check to see if anything is ending up in your system journal. Application logs often end up there. Without an actual error message I can't help you.
