kyrios Yup I opened Firefox and all the extensions I use work. For some strange reason the first time I opened it today I had the disabled extensions warning, closed and reopened it and everything is fine....odd.
For anyone that wants to use a Firefox alternative I do use Waterfox. It is based off of the Firefox ESR, thankfully Waterfox isn't affected so far. Here is the appimage link for an easy way to get up and running.
https://appimage.github.io/Waterfox/
and the Waterfox homepage
https://www.waterfox.net/
Simplified appimage instructions:
Right click on the appimage that you downloaded, go to properties, go to permissions, and check the box ""Allow executing file as program".
You should be set to go, if you want, you do have the option to import all of your book marks from Firefox.
Only thing I ask for anyone reading this is to at least look into Waterfox, and do your own research to see if this is a good fit for you. (no I do not work on the Waterfox project I just like to use it)
