ermo Given that you (or your ISP) use the "spamexperts" service based out of the Netherlands, if I were you ...
I just wanted to clarify some things from the thread about a sync delay. What my ISP might use for spam filtering has absolutely nothing to do with me. I've owned the domain my email comes from for 23+ years, and I get email from the mail server at JustHost. I have full control over said email, as it affects my domain and the users here.
I normally use Apache SpamAssassin and SpamBox to control spam from there, to identify spam email and move it to the spam folder. I use nothing that deletes messages identified as spam without my being able to review them. That said, I've disabled even these filters and attempted once again to register with Matrix via Element, with no success.
Per your recommendation I've also logged onto Element.io/register with Vivaldi and attempted to do it from there, with the same results. (That is, no results.) If that absolves Solus of complicity, I'm delighted.
Just to be clear, I'm not upset with the Solus team, or with anyone on it. I've just checked regularly for a sync for nearly four days, starting when we traditionally expect to see one released. I can't imagine any reason why Solus users should need to depend on an external social media app to get important Solus news. This forum is a part of Solus, and here's where we come to communicate with each other.
Not looking for an argument about this, and in fact, I don't plan to write anything more about it. I've made my point clear.
