Fantastic! I've changed to my other laptop, the one that was still running Solus Plasma, and I feel at home now. There are two other machines that I'll switch back to Solus after dinner, but those will take a bit more of an effort than this one did. This one took an update -- those others need an installation and a lot of configuration. But it will be worth it.

After running -- sudo eopkg ar Solus https://cdn.getsol.us/repo/shannon/eopkg-index.xml.xz

    Then run-- sudo eopkg up

Result for 50 pkgs in less than 2 minutes

    Thank you @JoshStrobl and @ReillyBrogan

Superb, huge work, congratulations to all of you for this update.

    Are we happy? (Looks around).

Well I dunno about y'all, but around here, we happy.

You folks really know how to deliver on your promises and simultaneously exceed expectations.

worked okay for me . I am on the unstable branch at the moment . I have several programs besides the basic ones such as brave, blender, gimp etc and had 78 updates. took about two minutes , rebooted, and system is working fine so far. Thanks to the development team ..

nolan Yeah. clr-boot-manager failed. I ran out of space over EFI directory. I've removed old entries and files. I left two kernels as option in order to boot. Then I entered clr-boot-manager update and returned this: [ERROR] cbm (../src/bootman/update.c:L238): Could not find default kernel for type current, using highest relno . It seems to be an old issue if you read some older posts about current and lts kernels.

PostData: Thanks to the team for trying to keep alive something really valuable, you're doing great.

Just updated my laptop (and old crap...), had almost a GB to update : worked well.

Unsure about the speed but my machine has a wireless interface limitation because of its age. I am confident to try the same on my workstation.
And I will clone my main drive to experience with the unstable repos as well, the exchange on Matrix are stimulating and motivating.

We are a Day + 4 after the "New Voyage Blog Post" and we are already able to update some packages.

    I'm so thankful !
You guys and gals are mindblowing ! Really impressive 🤯

All went smooth ! Thank you very much; Solus is back on the block ! Yay !

Thank you!!! It was so great getting new packages this morning.

CDN has been chugging away just fine. 200+GB transferred, 30k requests to various indexes and packages. 82% cache hits.

Same here. That feels just so good. You guys are awesome !

Using these repos actually saturates the network unlike before, when only around a tenth of the bandwidth would be used.

Shannon repo, flawless upgrade in just a few minutes. Very happy to be with you at this great New Voyage.

Thanks so much to both the old and the new Solus team members!
