@RAinb0wStAr9938 Looking over this thread In the light of a new day, it seems to me that the issue you are experiencing is most likely caused either by (1) an issue with the USB created by BalenaEtcher, or (2) missing drivers for your chipset (Core i3-1215U and Intel Iris XE graphics) in kernel 5.13, which is the kernel used in the current Solus 4.3 ISO. I've looked carefully at your specifications, and I see no other likely cause.
Based on the most recent comment by @infinitymdm and a bit of independent research, I am leaning toward a kernel/driver problem, but it could be either.
If the issue is a problem with the the USB created by BalenaEtcher, your best bet is to create a new installation USB, preferably using a different USB creation tool. Many of us have had problems with BalenaEtcher over the years, so I wouldn't rule a BalenaEtcher problem out.
If the issue is a problem with the 5.13 kernel drivers not supporting your chipset, then your options differ depending on what your goals are:
(1) If your goal is to take a look at the Budgie desktop for evaluation purposes, you can accomplish this by (a) setting up a VM on your laptop and installing Solus Budgie in the VM, or (b) installing a different Budgie implementation such as Ubuntu Budgie.
(2) If your goal is to install Solus Budgie because you want to use (rather than evaluate) Solus Budgie, then (a) you can try to install Solus Budgie using the Intel nomodeset tool, install, update to install the 6.x kernel, and then reboot, or (b) wait until a new ISO is released in the near future.
That's not a great set of alternatives, but unless someone else comes along with a better solution, those seem to be the available options.
