brent I also had similar crashes deleting files (a certain way) in Nautilus so maybe crash-applet a red herring edited a single word for @elfprince !
NickJ2911 @WetGeek Thanks for the info! I am aware of bluetooth technology! 😀 I just forgot if it was in the hardware of my desktop. It is not. Thank you though!
NickJ2911 @[deleted] YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIVE IT!!!!! dconf reset -f /com/solus-project/budgie-panel/ WORKED IM BACK IN!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!
EbonJaeger NickJ2911 The real question is what causes the applet to crash. As the developer of that particular applet, I would especially love to know.
NickJ2911 All of my menus and themes are reset and shortcuts are all reset as well. And the file that I deleted is in the trash folder! so I didn't right click and delete permanently. I right clicked and sent to trash from the HOME folder and that is what borked everything for some reason!
NickJ2911 @EbonJaeger It was just a nothing .mp4 file that I think I downloaded from twitter via youtube-dl I believe. It did have a # hashtag in it could that have been the issue?
NickJ2911 @EbonJaeger Is the issue perhaps because I am sending to trash directly from the HOME folder? Seems odd that it would crash the whole system tough.
NickJ2911 @Staudey I think when I did: gsettings reset org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme it reset the caja appearance. Now it is white. Do you or anyone know how to switch it back to a dark theme? i know the gnome-control-center switches Nautilus file manager to a dark theme but caja is still white.
Axios Now if we just get brent on the ball think he been through all this stuff a dozen times already..lol I am not on mate right now dont remb if you can change that in properties on caja
brent Axios master dark settings for budgie in dconf settings. I've been thru all of this no doubt. I do have a tendency to purge these experiences tho
