[deleted] This unsolved mystery is thrilling
Little things like this drive me insane because they must have some small root cause somewhere it's just not obvious. But that's the joy of troubleshooting once that eureka moment hits and you find it..you get to sleep at night.. I've been there lol
it's very thrilling, I agree. I'm not the only one either. a handful of us are restless til a seemingly simple problem is solved. call it amateur pride🙂.
I wish I could say its twice as thrilling when its your mystery, but it's not, it's only half as thrilling since the other half is frustration.
a new install has occurred to me but I am one of those people who loathe kneejerk reactions.
I like Nautilus. I want it back. Not this mickey mouse version.
I have 2 more ideas:
1) roll back eopkg history to when I was happy, which was yesterday, or
2) you know how you clear cookies/tmp/cache to clear a browser? what purges nautilus or resets it? I looked at every file called nautilus. remove/uninstall does nothing because it calls up some file that retains settings.
ps----
[deleted] started fresh saved my data and did a reinstall out of impulse so i could narrow down where it came from
you mean budgie or nautilus?
