I know how to work very well with Inkscape and GIMP, but the original image is simply perfect, I can't find anything to do to it. I think nothing should be done to him.
What's more, I feel that I desecrate the purity of the original file by altering it, if the original author is around, I want to tell him that he has my respects...

I know this is a super old post, but a logo for Solus which reflected its merger (is merger right? Maybe joint venture) with Serpent OS would be super cool. Like maybe the Solus ship, sailing on top of a gigantic Serpent instead of the ocean! Lol, that would be hard to express in a small SVG, though.
I love the Solus logo, but it would be cool to reflect the huge change that is a rebase on Serpent OS.
