stefancfu how does it run with the i7 and 16gb ram? I'm planning on installing Solus on my main desktop soon and upgrading the ram a bit. It will be used for heavy photo and video editing as well as regular light browsing. I'm guessing it will be lightning fast since it actually runs well on a machine with a Pentium 3885-U and only 8gb of ram.
I7-7700K, 32gb ram, RTX-1060.
Brucehankins I do not have any complaints. At the moment my workflow is at medium level and everything runs smoothly. I use Kdenlive, Audacity, Krita, Gimp,darktable and rawtherapee . You should try it.
Brucehankins Budgie runs amazing on a dual core i3 with 4GB RAM.
I have an i7-6700 with 24(was 32)GB of RAM a 1060GTX (I don't think 1060s came in RTX) and every desktop flies.
Justin you are correct, I messed up. It's the 3gb GTX 1060.
Freshly installed Budgie, loving it !!
Khm,khm.. I've noticed some of you here have different kind of 'Firefox' logo with the 'Papirus' icons , I can't seem to change it.

Stefen_Maxwell In order to have the Unite extension display app / titlebar contents on the top bar, you need to enable the app menu, you can do it in dconf-editor
(in the screenshot). [sudo eopkg it dconf-editor
]
Also, you need to have xprop
installed [sudo eopkg it xprop
]
