jujey my 3 Solus setups, all of them on Openbox

Very impressive! You've encouraged me to try Openbox, and I installed it on my Solus 4.0 Budgie VM in order to learn more about it. So far, though, I haven't been able to figure out how to implement it.

Is there a window manager setting somewhere that I haven't found yet?

WetGeek you will need obconf, lxappearance and obmenu to change some things, there's also Tint2 which is a bar you can get. openbox config is under .config/openbox and then there's a autostart, a rc.xml and a menu.xml which is the menu that appears when you right click, you can easily customize that menu with obmenu. check my dots here https://github.com/jujey/dots they have all my configs and themes you can take them if you want to

Thanks! It sounds like the adventure is just getting started!

jujey check this video if you still feel a bit lost

Thanks ... by halfway through the video I realized that this would be a whole lot bigger adventure than I ever thought it would be!

kngmlb That's a nice, clean setup! What wallpaper is that, may I ask?

DansLeRuSH Hello I've been trying to find and install that widget with system live specs you have on the bottom right! How can I get that if you don't mind? I'm new to solus.

That would be Conky. There are lots of instructions on the Internet.
          picnerd@picnerd ~ $ eopkg sr conky
          conky-manager-dbginfo - Debug symbols for conky-manager
conky - Lightweight system monitor for X
          conky-manager - Conky Manager

Actually it is enough to install only conky but many beginners install the manager as well.
Then there are additional terminal tools that you can read with Conky but ....

            ^^^^^^^So many great styles above.

JohannPopper amber is definitely the best colour for cool-retro-term (and terminals in general) 😁
for my work keyboard I got orange-on-black keycaps as a tribute...

Too bad I can't find a zsh theme that's similar... That is a really cool terminal!

Newbie to Solus. My Budgie setup, atm. "Theme is life and so does consistent wifi connectivity", lolz!

tyvm to the devs and contributors for the splendid OS. 😃
