jhansen I found solus recently. I am happy with it. Here my desktop. Simple with a conky on the right side.
Original-Syn VaSAMiAn Thanks, just stumbled across that one day. https://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=1352156 Fun side note, the second Linux distro I ever ran was Yggdrasil.
brent Original-Syn Similarly, I installed gruvbox icons the for first time a couple days ago and I really like them. They come washed out like they got redshifted so there's that nice effect. Yggdrasil, I believe, has the distinction of being the first live Linux distro ever, among other things.
Original-Syn brent Technically you had MCC Interim (first menu driven installer), TAMU (first use of X Windows), and SLS (became the basis for many others), but Yggdrasil was certainly the first one that was more of a full experience. There were a few other small projects, and I worked on one, that never went anywhere but got rolled into SLS. But that was all within the same year of 1992.
brent Jupiter, Io, gruvbox, and budgie [see the dark taskbar blob after the time in the upper left? I've only seen 2 icon themes that actually know what to do with radiotray-ng, and one of them is Humanity.]
WhiteWolf paracetamol Hey, yep that's QuickShell with Hyprland. I compiled it manually, also raised a request to add it to repo: https://github.com/getsolus/packages/issues/6116 we will see the outcome of it as it got a dependency with unclear license (I'm a licences noob) so needs some love from core team.
stocc WhiteWolf I see that the package request hasn't really gone anywhere yet. Is it relatively straightforward to build manually? Are you able to list the steps? Thanks.
