Blumoop a very modified gnome was my first guess cause it still looks like gnome🙂 you need a compositor or a bubbling cauldron for the floating taskbar effect? Or one of those WM packages? Love it

      brent lol I made "KNOME", since I was a GNOME user, and before that Cinnamon. I like how in Plasma you can make it your own with the customization features, used to not Plasma because I would have a bad experience with bugs, but Plasma 6 has been smooth for me so far.

        This shows us: KDE is very flexible
        You can turn a KDE into a Gnome
        But never a Gnome into a KDE

        I have Krunner enabled on WIN key so i can just press it and start typing to find whatever it is i'm looking for, apps to open etc. I guess similar to how Gnome works.

        Power button top left i have set to open Application Launcher in Dashboard view. But i rarely use this menu as i handle most tasks through Krunner

              Pjol Dashboard view search function is very disapointing. I like the aesthetic but Krunner and Kickoff is way too good to be replaced by it. If only it uses the same back-end as kickoff and krunner.

                anyways sticking to materia, since i liked it from the start of my solus journey
                and edited the libadwaita theme, so it would fit the surroundings.

                My Hyprland setup, it's so... just beautiful. With rainbow animations its so juicy. Love it. Thought I was a noob for Tilling Compositor but now after learning all the shortcuts I'm amazed how quick I can navigate with my workflow.
