Christoph3 Solus 4 fresh install 🙂 Fonts: SFNS text Icons : Papirus+Sweet Blue Folders with Papirus inherit Terminal: Powerline Fonts installed Panels: 1Panel+Global Menu - 2Panel dock mode
oblvnnwtnjhn Christoph3 how do I modify as you did? I have the Sweet-Blue extracted to icons, only a few folder changed and the rest are other unrelated icons.
Beastmilk Just recently switched over to KDE edition. Numix theme and icons. Just looking through all the stuff you can change is honestly a little .. Overwhelming. Still trying to figure out what I really like. Side note: How do you stop pinned apps from moving when you open them?
dbarron Nothing special really, just default budgie desktop, transparent centered bar, and variety for a varied background every 15 minutes. Gkrellm for a resource monitor in corner.
Christoph3 dbarron hi there , you have profile fonts installed? what is your bash or zsh configuration?
lovemytux Christoph3 hey there and sorry for the late response. You can find the wallpaper here and you can also use the script that guys uploaded here in order to change easily the height/width of the wallpaper. You can run it (for 1920x1080 example), by typing: ./makemywall.sh -s 1920 1080 Hope it helps 🙂
edivan lovemytux Thanks for your help. This icon has a default image of Solus, and the link has a black and a yellow one. Do you have this pattern in good standing? Where do I leave it for the script to find it?
lovemytux edivan you can use the script for any image that you want and you place the image as the last argument in the script: eg. ./makemywall.sh -s 1920 1080 /path/to/the/image.jpg
CraigMatze edivan Hello, for the Icon image usr/share/icons/Sardi/scalable/places , start-here-symbolic-solus.svg For mine I wanted a dark theme, so opened in GIMP re-colored , added dark to the name and presto. 🙂
angico sangheeta Hi! What is that vertical monitor in the left side of your screen? I'm new to Solus, and I don't feel comfortable without some system monitoring app on the screen. I also use Debian and Manjaro in other two laptops, and both run gkrellm on KDE. But I just can't find any gkrellm package for Solus. Can you help me with some advice, please?
fozters Looking through these desktops I can only say that Solus u$ers seems to have good taste. Well here's mine (still tinkering with my conkies, RSS feeds are bloated on the left side, but I'm just checking which feeds have info I'm interested to keep):
