I've transitioned to some degree of simplicity

I started usign Arc Menu extension to merge Applications & Places and to have a all-in-one menu.

I've also installed Smart Transparent Topbar to make it dynamic when there's an app touching the top bar. Love customizing solus.

Solus - the distro that helped me get comfy with Linux and switch for good!
