JoshStrobl Any reason you'd do this as opposed to just using GNOME Disks?
Josh, can GNOME Disks be used with Plasma? Sounds like something I'd like to try for access to my NAS shares. But I'd be concerned about loading up a lot of GNOME dependents (and their dependents) that I might not be able to remove completely if it doesn't work. Do you already know, or should I just go ahead and try it?
And would GNOME Disks add lines to /etc/fstab
that will cause the shares to be mounted at startup, or would I still need to use mount -a
with an elevated password to mount the shares after every startup or reboot? That's what I'm trying to avoid, of course.
