Call To Action: Translators Needed
- Edited
amaanat2017 Per the hints from Weblate, you need to match the ending colons and whitespace. If the source string ends in whitespace, the translation must as well. If it doesn't, the trailing whitespace should not exist. For colons (:
), "full stops" (period, .
) it's the same.
For example, in the screenshot below you're missing the .
Items failing checks shouldn't be approved.

JoshStrobl It's done for PUNJABI it just needs reviewing from my side. I was wondering who else is on my team though
amaanat2017 Excellent work on the Punjabi translations. You're the real MVP!
JoshStrobl Nah man it was nothing in front of the work you guys put in this amazing project. You guys are the real MVP for giving us the amazing Solus. And BTW can you please add Hindi and Punjabi section to the Brisk menu.
JoshStrobl Thank you!
Hey @JoshStrobl, I don't see Albanian for Brisk Menu.
@JoshStrobl Finally done with Hindi work as well and It was fun
algent I'll be adding the languages listed in the main post to Brisk Menu as well in case people want to translate it as well
amaanat2017 Thank you very much for your contribution. It's really appreciated.
I can translate chilean spanish if still needed.
JoshStrobl The Afrikaans translation for the Brisk Menu is done ️
JoshStrobl You're most welcome. BTW Brisk menu is done in both languages as well.
@Diego5714 That'd be fantastic. I've added you to the Spanish Translators team
I don't know how many Portuguese (Portugal) translators exist on Weblate|Solus but there is no need to add anyone else. I have always kept the Portuguese (Portugal) language 100% translated.
If it depends on me the Budgie Desktop and the Brisk Menu will always be translated with quality.
hugok That's really great to hear <3
Do you have anyone translating Budgie Desktop in BRETON? If not I may be able to translate it. Let me know
Is it possible to add Spanish (Chile) to Brisk menu? I checked the list of available languages, but it was not there.
