  • Bluetooth Earbuds Won't Reconnect after Being Connected to a Different Device

There are a ton of other discussions here about bluetooth connection issues, but either none of the suggested fixes have worked and/or the issue isn't the same as the one I'm experiencing; so, I wanted to ask about my specific issue here.

In short, when I pair and connect my TAOTRONICS SoundLiberty 77 earbuds, disconnect them, connect them to a different device—e.g., my OnePlus 7t—and then try to reconnect them to my Solus machine, I can only do so if I completely remove the buds and repair them. In fact, the "Connection" slider in the buds' dialog box us unmovable.

If anyone else has had this issue and solved it, please share; thanks, in advance!

moore-bryan More or less I have this issue with my Airpods and UE Boom 2 bluetooth speaker (will be testing out the new Google Pixel Buds next month fyi). I interchange between these two devices from time to time and suffer the inability to reconnect sometimes. My only actual solution that works? Restarting my laptop (I suppose login/logout would do the same job). Honestly, restarting my laptop is quicker than trying to reconnect the devices sometimes 5-10 times retrying. I don't know the exact issue and who it falls on, but it's been this way for at least a good year or two if not more for me, I don't expect it to be fixed anytime soon. I just remain mindful of what devices I'm using. But generally speaking it's not so much an issue for me as it is an annoyance because I'm only using one device or the other at a time. My apologies for my lack of solution, but just thought I'd share my ongoing experiences with this similar matter.

Thanks, @Scotty-Trees; sounds like you and I are doing, essentially, the same thing to repair. I just choose to "forget" the earbuds and "pair" like they're new... I just need to remember before my Zoom calls I have to do that.

I had tried the suggestions here, but they didn't "take."

    Frustrating as hell, for sure...
