For a few weeks (maybe 3 or 4) I repeatedly have the problem, that eopkg up is being disrupted and I have to restart it. I have to do this about 3 or 4 times and then everything was downloaded and the update is being installed. It's always the same error message:

It translates to 'System error. Program execution aborted.'
It is not the same package that is disrupting it. Internet connection seams fine on my end, I don't have any troubles updating other machines.

Today it was particularly bad (after 9 Tries, not counting one yesterday evening, I started updating in smaller batches):

hunzel not sure if this will help or be of any solace, but weeks ago my PC wouldn't sleep and had other weird issues, including updates telling me "I had no more space left" for updates. Solved by reinstalling the whole thing.
Naturally, first try sudo eopkg check to rule out there are broken packages.

i5 tested overnight and was ok went for a nap tried to wake from lock screen keyboard woke up but no display. Tapped keys moved mouse no video machine didn't return from lock. Core duo seems still to be up and responding had to hard reset. Thoughts? This is Plasma btw.

All updated OK, though current kernel download via the CDN was very slow... approximately 260kB/s, whereas other packages downloaded at 8+MB/s.

Normally, Gnome remains stable even after an update. But today it's a bit unstable.

My extensions (Dash to Dock, Bluetooth Battery Meter) had to be adjusted (extensions and Gnome updates are always a bit of a hassle...) and my Nextcloud client icon no longer looks right. See screenshot. I can't seem to fix it properly.

151 packages updated in Solus today and everything seems OK.

Following this update, I've successfully recovered the original Safe Eyes icon in the system tray and the application appears correctly in the menu, thanks to @EbonJaeger .

Furthermore, after installing the new version of the kernel 6.18.8-326, I tested the Suspend and Hibernate functions on my computer and these tests were successful (on Budgie).

Just remembered, if you have a Intel GPU and noticed missing textures in games, a work around was added to mesa as part of this weeks sync.

After updating, everything works as usual, special kudos to RoCM Team for the effort in getting it updated, also Blender 5!!

As soon as I have wayland on budgie I would ask no more! (even though X11 still rocks on this DE)

GNOME 49.3 | Screensharing problem with fullscreen.

Steps:

Screenshare.
Open a app or game in fullscreen
Change in workspaces
Open and close other apps.
Check a transmission, get a bug.

AlphaElwedritsch Specifically, I'm referring to gnome-shell, which was released in version 49.3. I confirmed the error with two other friends who use Solus GNOME. The problem seems to be with window management?. You can verify the problem by following the steps and having someone else watch the stream, or you can check it yourself by going to full screen and watching the stream. It looks choppy.

The error does not occur in Arch Linux (they have version 49.3.1 there)

Data: I also use Variable Refresh Rate.

A bug does not occur instantly, but by switching between windows (full screen, and not full screen) in other workspaces and going to one. (This look in transmission | desktop-share) and verify using obs and gpu-screen-recorder and a videos see ok?. That's really weird bro.
