Hello from greece , i'm testing solus right now i'm gonna see if it has all i need to make it my daily driver.
First i want to report what i didn't liked
1) The update speed could be faster , i don't know if there's a problem from my side , for example maybe i need to restart my router or something or the mirrors are a bit slow
2) There's no support for my rtl2838 dvb-t tv tuner which is fully compatible out of the box in all linux distros and even on freebsd. If you can help me to install what firmware it may need or compile any modules required please HELP! !!!!!
I'm watching tv on my room i have a really big curved pc monitor and i'm used to watch tv on my room .
3) It would be nice if somehow you could integrate the aur packaging system or pacman.
My experience with Solus

Mirror speed is something we'll be addressing when we add Fastly as the CDN frontend again.

I'd suggest filing a bug report on our development tracker, linked in the header of Flarum.

Absolutely not. Not only are the two packaging and binary systems completely incompatible, but we have no intention on supporting a "user repository".
Now with snap and flatpaks and other packaging systems i can find software i need for example i need the updated shotcut and kdenlive and i can find them with snap or flatpak this is very good , also the repository has grown since last time i used solus. Very nice distro indeed.
chrisfromgreece Or you can use AppImage for kdenlive

I hope the Solus team makes the Pantheon Terminal as the default application because it remembers the opened tabs every time the application is reopened or even the computer is restarted. it is very helpful.
Definitely useful at times.,
