I don't have an issue with the sync per se, but I was a bit unpleasantly surprised that Discover went out and looked for it without me telling it to. That isn't how the old Software Center worked unless you set that option. When I looked in Discover's Configure Updates menu, there is no way to turn that off. Is there a way to turn that off and only have it look when I explicitly tell it to, or at least when I actually activate Discover?
What was in Discover's Software Update screen were two options for 'Apply system updates', which are 'After Rebooting' and 'Immediately', but between them is the line 'Recommended to maximixe system stability'. I can't tell if that line is supposed to apply to the option above it or below it. Immediately was the default, apparently.
