davidjharder Thanks for the kind words. It helps when you truly enjoy a community. I have been using Linux for 3+ decades. It has been a while since I felt like something click with a distro and community like Solus has.

Thanks to all for the language, you can't use the default language setup in Solus ?

I can set it to detect the default and use the language file, if one has been created, like French. I have the detection disabled for now during testing phase but seeing that French works I will enable it before the next release after 0.5.x.

used to say INSTALLED at the top but the color-coding is the visual cue now so that will work. have not visited changelogs or every post so just observation. just got home. maybe I'm hallucinating 🙂

brent The main reason for that change is that top row will now display all the items selected in multi-select. That way you make sure that you have everything selected before going to install/uninstall. With the enhanced visual on the install state in the list, it was a trade-off to make things all have a place.

With my hours and lack of sleep I'm just happy I detected it without reading a thing about it 😪 ! It's an OK tradeoff. Thanks for getting back to me. Glad to see this home-grown tool evolve and have a following. build it and they will come i said early...but you already knew that. Carry on!

I just want to say Thank you for making this Little app
Havent used it much so far but got P.O. earlier because it was so Easy to find stuff with S.C.
not the main Programs but the other stuff.
Then budgie crashed so I just shut laptop off...lol and cooled down.
Came back did a pkg search and found it with Solseek So my hats off to you.
I use to reference stuff easy with S.C. when they needed to add a package or something but I
see now its not going be as simple.(Not knocking your program)
So I may scale back my helping people not going spend alot time looking for stuff if I dont already know it

Just curious when you say reference, what types of things are you looking for? Maybe it is something I can look into with Solseek down the road. I know I cannot repicate everything SC did as I am doing this in shell at this time, but who knows down the road.

Had some budgie Oops screen crashes and each time had your prog open
and it would not list anything in ( flatpak all) just sit their blinking
My question is cache memory or to disk because I think there was some kind of cant write to something
dont remb what it said and then it went to the Oops crash confused at what was happening But I went in ran my bleachbit setup havent had any crashes since

Until it happens again not saying your program did anything was just running it through my head if it happens again.
The first oops crash my clock app was gone from dock added it back but second crash its still there.

But been testing and everything is fine now.

Axios Interesting. Yeah just let me know. Basically everything is a shell script using eopkg and flatpak and I use a cache file, so no memory cache or anything to keep it simple. Thanks for letting me know.
