With this in mind, we try to avoid assumptions that someone is giving advice in bad faith, or assign negative associations like passive aggressiveness without evidence. It's better to give people the benefit of the doubt, especially when they are volunteering their time to answer questions.

    Ubuntu Budgie has their own vision of Budgie. Plank is 3rd party dock app, not part of Budgie project. Budgie has its own option to create native dock if you want it.

      You can create a new Panel in Budgie Settings, go to Panel Settings and enable Dock Mode. I never used it as I prefer real panels over docks.
