BitTim8 It's a great way for new people to gain interest in Solus. Most new people coming to Linux have a discord account and probably not a matrix account.
It's a way for me to contribute to growing Solus and spreading awareness about it to people.
these are noble intentions and I support your effort of spreading the word. I'm sure the Core that all work for free would be hard pressed to extend themselves but, as you said, perhaps delegate to volunteers/donors? you made a good case and acknowledged manpower would be the key.
I don't speak for anyone but myself here. as long as the forum is here I don't need or want a discord or matrix account--but I always hoped we would have a higher profile. I am a persuer of another forum and the influx of people leaving W11 is startling. One introduces themself every day . Not as many dual booters as there are those cutting the cords.
Something shifting in the Linux world cant put my finger on it. I think Solus should have a piece of that pie, too. Word of mouth has been good and the profile not a bad idea at all. All plans like that come with unintended consequences although I cannot/don't want to (edit) put my brain there today.
