iroylearner111 AlphaElwedritsch Like windows one can place icons another on the screen . Is it possible in Budgie too? That's what I wanna know
AlphaElwedritsch as mentioned above. It is not possible. An old post, but i think, still actual: For everything you want to do with your desktop, Budgie is probably not the right choice due to its limitations
iroylearner111 AlphaElwedritsch That was from 4 years. Maybe in version 4.5 they added this feature. maybe!!!!! . Or I hope they do in the next update ( 5 ).
AlphaElwedritsch That is the responsibility of the Budgie developers. Not the Solus developers. I would suggest you open a feature request for Budgie Desktop.
AlphaElwedritsch You have to look for something rather than just asking directly https://github.com/BuddiesOfBudgie/budgie-desktop/issues
AlphaElwedritsch iroylearner111 AlphaElwedritsch Asking is easier good people do the looking job remains in memory...
WetGeek tflovik quite an arrogant answer you give to people helping you Indeed. An excellent way to get these kind people to stop wasting any of their time on you. (As I have.)
iroylearner111 Guys I'm so sorry you guys are hurt by what I said. But I really didn't mean to hurt you guys. I just said that casually and in a funny way. Again I'm sorry I hurt you guys.
EbonJaeger Long story short, Budgie Desktop View (the program providing the desktop icons) is a really basic implementation after desktop support was dropped from Nautilus. Eventually, it will likely be replaced with a more featureful version, but not anytime soon. What you can do instead is follow this guide to use the desktop implementation in Nemo. It hasn't been made default in Solus due to focus on other issues taking time away from doing it.
iroylearner111 AlphaElwedritsch Thanks man for forgiving me. I'm really ashamed of myself. I will be careful next time. Wish you the best.
