I've fresh Installed Solus budgie about 3 times already trying to get it to work but it just keeps getting messed up after updating the software or after trying to use a different kernel.
When fresh installed and no modifications/updates done Solus will freeze when trying to shutdown or restart via GUI (terminal powers-off and reboots fine); noticed this also happened in the Live USB so its not just a post install error. Once Solus is updated it will freeze as soon as the lock-screen is loaded (giving me about one second to get to TTY). I figured out that this was Linux 5.0 kernel issue only however when trying Linux 4.20 it lock-screen without freezing but once logged in it freezes giving me a black screen. Linux LTS kernel (4.9) seems to work better and boots up much faster but does not recognize my Wifi so i have no network.
I honestly have no idea how to even start fixing this since nothing seems to be working so would appreciate some help if possible, thanks. (I really wanna try Solus again 🙃)
