WhiteWolf And regarding Vivaldi, sorry but it doesn't blocks ads as good as Brave.

I'm not sure what that means. I've used Vivaldi for years on lots of machines, and I haven't seen any ads on one of them yet. I just enable the setting 'Block Trackers and Ads" when I install Vivaldi on a new system and then simply forget about ads.

I also block third-party cookies, as those are usually up to no good.

So what happens when I set it like that, and then have to agree to "Accept all cookies to continue" to a site? I asked a Vivaldi dev. He explained that accepting all cookies means that you tell the site that it's okay to send them to your system, but Vivaldi just won't accept them. So I always click to accept all third party cookies, but never find any on any of my machines.

And to be sure, I don't care what browser (or DE) you like to use. I'm just correcting a misunderstanding about Vivaldi.

alfisya yes but it doesn't work,
currently only switching to default/x11 falgs allows to run it under wayland, but it's xwayland 🙁

I'm experiencing very slow download speeds when doing the latest sync.

about 200 KB/s for big packages.

I'm not using VPN.

How may I troubleshoot please ?

I just did a purge of the CDN cache, hopefully that will help

N1X3L That's not useful to us. We need the full journal log, please upload it to hastebin or similar and paste the link here.

Also, -b 1 means report logs from the first boot that journald still has due to retention policies. You'll notice that the timestamps are all from February 15th. What you actually want is -b -1, which shows logs from the previous boot (-b 0 is the current boot).

N1X3L please don't use the -r or the -p flags. The first is making your logs really difficult to understand (the kernel stack trace is basically unreadable) and the latter is leaving out important details.

@N1X3L This issue is 100% reproducible for you? Every single boot exhibits the issue? I was able to find some people with the same issue on a few distros forums, but nobody had explicitly bisected it to the commit that broke it.

Can you please open up an issue on our Github for it, including the exact first kernel version where it started happening for you? Also, it would be incredibly useful if you could hop on our Matrix so I can provide kernel builds for you to test to narrow down the cause of this issue. Bisecting the build is probably going to take between 10-20 builds to find the exact cause and coordinating that over Github is really slow.

        EbonJaeger unstickied the discussion .
