Axios ya and I ran across this to
The extra research and work for me to get things set up for Solus involved filling the ink tanks from the supplied bottles, plugging it in, and telling it the password for my wi-fi. Every Linux computer here (all Solus Plasma) immediately found it. My Samsung smartphone also found it yesterday, and it's now listed in its settings. I haven't tried its voice activation yet, because I was really tired at the time, but I doubt that Epson would advertise that feature if it doesn't work. Besides that, I'd probably never use it anyway.
Still, there are folks using all kinds of hardware here. All but one of my computers is a DELL, with Intel inside. It's possible that some of you might try one of the ET-series printers and have a different experience that I've had. I can't be responsible for that. But as I mentioned in my first post in this thread, it's a pretty good idea to buy something like this from Amazon, if that's possible from your location. If it doesn't work for you, they'll accept a return. I always keep the box and packing materials until I'm happy with what I bought, just in case I might need to return something. They make it easy.
Bottom line: this one works fine for me, and that makes me happy. Its features allow it to do what I need a printer to do. I hope that whatever printer you choose does the same for you, whether it's this one or something else.
