WetGeek When you set a delay, then click to take the shot, then right-click to display the context menu, it's already too late to capture it. The delay you set is ignored, and the shot is taken before you have a chance to select the area and snap it.
I've been configuring XFCE the last 3 hours, now I'm back in Budgie. I DID notice this. I noticed when I select 'select an area' that very thing happened and the selector mouse was cut out once--disappeared. It's a buggy app and I'm inclined to import gnome-screenshot into xfce (unless that is gnome screen shot?)---I could get what I wanted but it took a while.
It's nifty and modest and you are right: it's a plethora of config settings.
I went and fetched a very hardened user.js for firefox from github because I get sick of browser settings. Viv Snapshot will be next.
You know how you said you have it looking identical to Plasma (sans k-packages)? I think we are all inclined to do that even me. While there is no way in he** I could use a stock configuration, I want a different experience except I don't know what it is...
Anyways...I wonder if I could start an 'XFCE Questions' thread that any new xfce user could jump in with questions?
Because if you can't answer this question then I'm afraid I may have to. Here's my question:
Is there any way to get rid of the verbosity in the menu? (that extra sentence after app name I mean)
