The only Windows computer I have--a little Dell desktop that uses Vivaldi to stream content to our TV--wasn't working this morning. A huge update had been installed automatically, and it needed to be restarted before we could watch anything.
When the update was finally finished, I needed to skip an unwanted update to Windows 11 by finding and clicking on a small link that says "Keep Windows 10" on one page, and "Decline upgrade" on the next page. By doing this I was able to keep Windows 10 (for now, anyway), but anyone not paying attention could easily have ended up with Windows 11, whether they wanted it or not.
I just thought I'd point out that we need to be careful if we need to update a Windows machine. Microsoft is using every available technique, short of outright forcing us, to coerce us all into installing Windows 11. Pay attention, folks!
