Hi !!

I want to change the minimum size of the password.

Which files do I need to edit for this, when I want to change minimum size to 256 MB
(and I want to save the password to an usb-stick or to an usb-harddisk) ?

Is this sufficient to edit only /etc/login.defs ?

Can I execute a bash-script with login-query of gdm ?

Can't speak for others but personally I wouldn't want to walk someone through messing with their pam config and/or loading a password from a stick/drive. Hic sunt dracones. Way too easy to mess up if you don't know what you're doing.
