Brave loads, but cannot load any of the tabs. Switched back to Firefox. Thank God for choices and options.

What do you mean by "cannot load any of the tabs"? If it's about not rendering properly, that's one of the known issues of the sync (and has a solution), see the Chromium bug mentioned here: https://discuss.getsol.us/d/9936-sync-update-for-week-44-2023/2

Staudey I don't see anything relevant on that link. All tabs are there, but when I try to open any of them, just a white background is there.

Forgot to mention that I tried booting with Solus LTS, but same thing happened. No Brave, but yes Firefox.

elfprince That sounds exactly like the Chromium issue. Try this: https://help.getsol.us/docs/user/troubleshooting/#broken-ui-with-chromium-applications

(Brave is based on Chromium, if that is not clear)

The suggested fix solves most but not all issues with Brave.
I still see an issues with a PNG picture not correctly displayed in Brave, e.g. empty white rectangle instead of Nextcloud logo. Same works fine in Firefox. Didn't test much and only have this single case until now, but wanted to share this observation.

palto42 My Brave opens .png files fine, it appears.

elfprince My Brave also opens most PNG correctly, so far only one cause an issue (but opens correct in FF and other apps).
Try this Nextcloud logo:

Upstream Chromium finally merged a fix for this rendering issue. It's going to take a while before all Chromium (Brave/Vivaldi/etc) and Electron apps update but some day this will be a thing of the past.

I ran into Brave not rendering any images at all on any websites. I cleared all the browser cache except for passwords (not my PC, he likes his passwords saved...) and so far have not had any other issues.
