Heya, folks! After many days of hard work by @ZachBacon, GNOME 45 has landed in the Unstable repository! As always, this means that the weekly sync will be skipped this week to allow for extended testing. There are two package additions this cycle: GNOME Console and GNOME Text Editor. For the full rundown of 45, check out the GNOME blog post about the release.
Budgie Desktop has also been updated to 10.8.2, which fixes some regressions since Budgie 10.8. Budgie Desktop View also has an update fixing a bunch of issues; you can read about them here.
If you would like to help out in testing GNOME 45 and/or Budgie Desktop, please head on over to the task for it. Make sure you read it in its entirety before updating! People testing these updates should create new issues on the issue tracker if they find any, and post a comment in the testing task with a link to the created issue. This will help us keep everything organized, reducing the chance that issues get missed.
Again, there will be no sync this week! Happy testing, and see you soon!
