been s-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o long since I've done any outside ofeopkg rmo
...
Dusted of my last document of collected command and revisited:
sudo eopkg dc
sudo eopkg rmo
sudo eopkg -y rdb
*******forgot ifrdb
was good form or only when there's a problem?
journalctl --vacuum-time=3d --vacuum-size=50M
(insert desired numbers)
these oddballs
rm ~/.local/share/recently-used.xbe*
touch ~/.local/share/recently-used.xbel
one big crazy command I used a couple times:
[run as root]
> /var/log/wtmp
> /var/log/btmp
> /var/log/lastlog
> /var/log/eopkg.log
dmesg -c
> /var/log/cups/access_log
> /var/log/cups/error_log
sudo sync && sudo clr-boot-manager update
**forgot if this was good practice to clear kernels or only when instructed to?
anybody find any of these archaic? or reckless?
or anything else you do every month or so that's not one here?
just updating my document. thanks. edit/formatting
