Is there a good tool to copy pictures from Samsung phone to PC ?
I have read something about Airdroid but can't find it.
On win it was pretty simple to connect the phone but on Solus sometimes it won't connect.
Any ideas ?

Sure. Just install KDEConnect from the repository. The smartphone needs to be paired, but it's no worse than connecting a Bluetooth peripheral. Just install KDEConnect on your phone from the online store and on your computer from the Solus repository.
Start the app on your phone, and then on the computer. The phone will then show up in the app on your computer, you can select it, and pair with it. It doesn't matter if your computer is using KDE Plasma or some other DE.
Thank you Wetgeek.
Works a charm.
I use warpinator to transfer files from smartphone to computer or the other way round. Works also pretty good.

Hi WetGeek,
KDEConnect is fine BUT you can only copy & paste ONE FILE AT A TIME!
That's just too bad to be true!
Can you not copy folders and paste them to your (Android) phone?

Sorry, I've never had a reason to try that. I mostly use KDEConnect to display the phone's notifications on my laptop screen. That's a lot more convenient way to find out what text message just arrived.
It would surprise me if one couldn't do that, though. I've found most KDE software to be of very high quality.
Personally I just connect my phone via USB, select the "Allow file transfer option" on the phone for the connection, and then just move files and folders over to it.
That's what i did before but last time it didn't connect.
Is there a way to change the destination folder in KDEconnect ?
Since my download folder is busy i have to search my files from phone.
I also tried warpinator, but like some other users mentioned on play store it won't connect.
There is also this one called Warp for Linux and Wormhole for Android that uses pretty niche protocol called magic wormhole. Its pretty interesting, i have been using it on and off
