My dad and his wife finally got a nice home desktop system and he wants to gift me two Toshiba laptops.
I know they come with a sh**-load of bloatware as any brand name...
My partner is getting the hardly used one--it will replace her old T440. I'll get my dad's where he did family bills and played solitaire on.
But I am taking it to take it. I also have a nice (to me) desktop setup and never needed a travel computer since the 90's.
What are the possibilities? Centralized storage? or music? or ultimate backup destination?
He's wiping them as soon as he learns how then shipping. I have no specs. All I know is he got them at a great Costco price about 10 years ago. SO they are Costco editions. Probably better than the average laptops if I know my dad but not upper tier. I have no idea what Costco sold a decade or less ago for Toshibas.
TLDR version: seeking info on what I could do with an extra computer and what can you tell me about costco toshiba laptops? muchas! edit/typed too fast and mangled a couple words
