TeamViewer crashes

Hi guys and gals,

I found out recently that TeamViewer crashes when I install it from the Third Parties section of the software center.
I can install it but when I start it I get past that tickbox that you have to tick, then the software crashes.
You then have to log out and log back in to start the app again but it stays the same:
As soon as you start the app it crashes.
Any idea why?

My solution was to install it from https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/linux/.
Works.

The commit that fixes that is also already in Solus. Should have gone out last Friday.

**EDIT: Reading this again and this seems like a totally different issue. It works from installing it manually from their website, but not from the Software Center?

Yes, it works as a tar.xz from this download: teamviewer_15.45.3_amd64.tar.xz
But I also just checked the fixed Third Party version:
It installed fine and it runs but when I wanted to remove/deinstall it (by running sudo rm teamviewer*.eopkg) it wouldn't remove the app.
The error message says:
rm: removing 'teamviewer*.eopkg' is not possible: File or folder not found (my own translation, I'm running Solus Budgie in German).
How can I remove the Third Party version?

If you have installed: sudo eopkg rm teamviewer

SOLUSfiddler sudo rm teamviewer*.eopkg because this removes the package eopkg that was previously installed.

To expand on that: The command mentioned in the Help Center is there to remove the .eopkg file that is created during the (manual) installation steps. It's not meant to remove the installed package from the system.
The command to remove an installed package is always sudo eopkg rm <packagename> and doesn't contain the .eopkg suffix.

man eopkg

Another good source is eopkg --help. And if you want to know more about a particular command, for example list, you can dig down with eopkg list --help.

I apologize for that unfortunate example. There is no eopkg list command, although there are plenty that start with the word "list," such as list-available, or la for short.

A general example, such as eopkg <command> --help, would have been better. Sorry about that.
