so solus gnome with wayland and have real issues picking up multiple monitors
is there a way to revert to just using xorg, as i had absolutely no issues with things running on xorg

  • jawkins in the file /etc/gdm/custom.conf you need to uncomment the line WaylandEnable=false, save and reboot. After reboot, to check run in the terminal echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE.

    Sorry it's not working out for you. For the most part Solus Plasma is working just fine with Wayland.

    When I log on, at the bottom of the screen, there's a choice between Wayland and X11 (actually implemented as XWayland). Is there no such choice with GNOME? GNOME and I never got along well together, so I'm not familiar with its implementation of Wayland.
