brent been a long time since I've been in this particular settings (Notifications) window. Love the spiffy look. but what's all the duplicates? I only have one printer, power, color etc. and how do I get rid of? thanks.

EbonJaeger Do you have both GNOME Control Center and Budgie Control Center installed? If so, remove GNOME Control Center if you're on Budgie.
brent EbonJaeger gnome-control-center: I've never left home without it. It's the El Jefe and over-writer/over-rider of all settings in Budgie. It took all themes back to dark that got light with the nautilus weirdness once upon a time. For that I was grateful... .....but since I haven't used it since 2022 I will take your advice and rm...and reboot in a few hours. And let you know. Thanks Ebon.
