Things seem MUCH better, but not completely solved. Could be a tiny regression with NetworkManager Applet's icon on notification - unsure (and not being able to shut notification is old, and allegedly an old upstream tiny bug), but that icon issue could be a thing I just didn't notice before.

Elaborated on Dev channel as was asked to test (meant on Support channel); still having an OOPS (non boot) budgie menu's wrong language's search issue after panel auto refresh bug, and it seems the logoff -> relog issue is not COMPLETELY solved (tried on a superfast relog for testing purposes).

The boot language indicator's bug is seemingly solved!

Overall for me it seems a good update! More responsiveness, some issues solved and no NEW major issues I see. However as said, I think not all PREVIOUS critical bugs are solved.

I put 1 week's long pastebin from today, journalctl -xe (it's not an issue from today, but an unresolved OOPS)
on Dev channel (not on support) since the report was accidentally made there and not on support.

It was taken on a re-constructable, repeated budgie panel's search on a different langue's/panel refresh related OOPS desktop crash after this sync. The bug was NOT introduced in this update, just wasn't solved by it.

(this time I pipelined the output into a file)
Since I could login, I simply collected it on the relog.
Don't remember if it was taken after pressing logout, but it was taken before a relog and after an OOPS happened.
I don't think it was taken as a root. so could be some messages are missing as a result

I had cursor issues (it disappeared erratically) that seems resolved with this update. Because Mutter has been replaced by Magpie ?

great work, great for the future of Solus 🙂

Everything is going great, thank you...

Today, my system is updated with 60 packages (934,44 MiB) and everything seems alright and the whole is fluid, so thank's or the great work of the Solus developer team. 👏
NB. I would like to know about Firefox if it's normal to change in Settings the language of this software in French each time it changes version number in Solus ?

@EbonJaeger : The bug where a virtual machine locks up the system when it's taken to full screen in a Wayland session is not resolved, but it's changed. Apparently Oracle is working on it. I'll add details to the bug report in Dev Tracker.

wine is broken for me too:

Harvey And also a Budgie Desktop backport to fix searching for programs in Run Dialog and Budgie Menu with non-Latin characters.

WetGeek Apparently Oracle is working on it. I'll add details to the bug report in Dev Tracker.

Somewhat related, I've created VirtualBox VMs for Budgie, GNOME, MATE, Plasma, and Xfce. Although I know that Boxes and virt-manager produce VMs that can be used at full screen on Wayland, I don't think this is a good time for me to abandon VirtualBox. So when I need to work with a VM at full screen, I'll just log in to an X11 session.

Great! thank you! the bug which was important for me, was fixed in last update which I tried just now 🙂
      You're awsome!

Another mini-sync to fix the issue with the file picker not opening from Flatpaks in GNOME (and potentially in other cases)
