there no startup animation or plasma startup no animation , when bootup from ISO drive, to installed on hardware, I noticed that solus 4.4 does not have a startup animation, is that a feature or was that a mistake? also with logging into plasma from sddm manager, I noticed that it does goes to a black screen then loads the plasma desktop, I kind of liked how opensuse tumbleweed has animation for these parts of the system, I was kind of used to it, its ok that this one doesn't I guess, it doesn't harm anything, but I was used to it with linux.
when booting into the X11 or wayland SDDM login manager, it does say the logo for gigabyte dual bios, right before, now with opensuse or kubuntu it showed grub then boots into the password startup if you used that before the X11 but with solus 4.4 it doesn't , I don't remember if solus before 4.4 had any animation or if that is normal for the this distro, is it possible to enable a startup screen and login animation screen to kde, plasma? if so, can you give me the commands to it in terminal, or info on how to enable it from either plasma or gnome desktops? for this solus 4.4 system. I have solus gnome on one USB drive, and plasma on the other one, gnome has to boot with nvidia option otherwise it gets a black screen and loses the connection to the monitor, but plasma doesn't have the same problem on my desktop, and budgie just doesn't work with my 3D card, I think I would have to use the software mode with budgie in grub in order to get it to bootup into a useable screen in that iso to usb version, since that one doesn't like my 3D card, but the other two for the most part, don't need extra kernel startup commands, I think fedora 38 has to run in software mode too, but opensuse doesn't have the same problem, it depends on the distro, I can enable nvidia drivers after their installed but I have had mix experience in using linux distro's with the nvidia rtx 2070 3D card.
