Hello All,

I'm facing a weird issue. I have an old VAIO Sony laptop runnong Sonus Budgie 4.4. I turned on the edge-scrolling and it works. But it works until I go to general settings then, it turns off and doesn't work anymore. I have to turn it on again to find it back.
And it works even if I switch off the laptop.
This is the settings menu which causes this issue.
Someone with the same weird things ?

Thanks in advance for the interest you'll give to my issue.

monsieurzik Hi, what DE are you using?
I am on a HP EliteBook 6930p with Solus Gnome. I have a similar issue. I don´t use the touchpad that often, because I have a mouse connected to the laptop. Though every know and then I use the laptop without mouse, and I would say every time I do so, edge scrolling is turned off and I have to go to the settings to activate it, though I would never turn it off myself. Have never figured out why that is.
So you just open the settings? That I cannot reproduce. After I have opened gnome settings, edge scrolling is still working, if I have enabled it before.

    6 days later

I'm on Budgie. Every time I open again the settings (to activate something or change a background) the edge scrolling goes away. I have to reactivate it again, I do what i need and I close the settings.

Someone else meets this issue ?

    a month later

I have this issue, too, since years...
I'm running Solus (4.4) Budgie (10.7.2) on a Fujistu Siemens Esprimo Mobile U9210. I sub, itted a ticket on https://dev.getsol.us a long time ago (T8418), but the URL I've got recently by mail (from "noreply"...) to give feedback is not working anymore (https://dev.getsol.us/T8418).
The bug gets effective on opening the touchpad configuration dialog. As long as this dialog is not shown, this "edge scrolling" setting remains active. It's gets immediately inactive on showing this dialog.
