Stealing this idea from the EOS forums, let's see your terminal prompt! Let us know what shell you're using, what theme you're using, and what features are important to you.

Here's mine

I'm using fish shell with Oh-My-Fish and a modified Lambda theme. Mostly, I love the autocomplete features and use them all the time. I know some call fish a rubbish shell, but I love it and it does everything I need.

Edit: I've been thinking about trying powerline, but just not sure it's for me. Might give it a go in a VM first and see how I like it and how easily I can change the colors.

Currently using a simple starship prompt without any special configuration apart from applying a Dracula theme (from back when my whole desktop was Dracula-themed, but I've since switched GTK theme). Really at this point it's less a purposeful configuration and more what I ended up with after some adventures.

I like seeing the status of the git repository I'm currently in, but I don't need much more. Even the timer I could do without to be honest.

Shell is zsh, with zsh-autosuggestions and zsh-syntax-highlighting (all in the repo), plus zsh-history-substring-search to give me some of the comfortable features I saw in other shells (mainly fish)

Seeing this thread makes me want to tweak my prompt and shell again though. If and when I do I'll post the results here.

Staudey I tried zsh before, but never really got comfortable with it. Maybe I'll give it a go again soon too with the other packages you have installed.

Bone stock gnome-terminal.
I do plenty of terminal work, and have tried about a dozen pretty cool terminal emulators....
...but keep coming back to this one.

Runner up: I still also use cool-retro-term with cathode tube, static, and screen burn effects

brent basic bash shell is still great, there's a reason it's the default by so many different distros.

Simple Fish terminal using stock Starship prompt. Currently using Kitty as the terminal emulator, but that changes by the month for me lol

I am using sup as terminal promt. My shell is BASH, LSD as ls command combined with CASKAYDIA COVE from NERD FONTS.

algent I like the font, looks similart to fira code nerd font. I'll have to give that one a go.
